Store Policies

  1. BHBB accepts like new clothing from selective stores. Items must be clean, in style, and on hangers. We do not accept discount store brands.

  2. We are an alternative to yard sales. Please do not use our service as a last resort before a thrift store. Our successful consignors bring clothing before not after a yard sale.

  3. Acceptance and pricing shall be at the discretion of BHBB whose decisions are final including necessary reductions in price.

  4. The consignor is to receive 50% of the selling price.

  5. There are no pick-up dates or cut off dates for your clothing. We keep your clothing until it sells.

  6. BHBB reserves the right to dispose of, without liability, any items deemed unsellable. Some examples are stains, broken zippers, moth holes, and out of style clothing.

  7. We are not responsible for loss or damage for any reason. All items are left at the owner’s risk.

  8. Payment on sold items may be picked up in store by the consignor. Due to the large number of consignors we recommend checking your account once a month. Money for sold clothing stays in the account for 1 year. Money not picked up after 1 year will be considered abandoned by the consignor and will become property of BHBB.​

How to turn unwanted clothing items into quick cash:

  1. Go through your closets! Make a stack to consign and a donate stack. All consigned items must be clean, in style and like new condition. All items including shorts and sweaters must be on a hanger that you do not want back (one item per hanger). If you don’t have hangers to spare, come into the store and ask for them. We would be happy to provide you with some!

  2. No items will be accepted with stains, rips, missing buttons, or any unpleasant odors like cigarette smoke, moth balls, mildew, etc.

  3. All items are accepted by appointment only Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Please call 270-843-3756 to make an appointment.

  4. You must have a minimum of 20 acceptable items to open a new account. We recommend that you bring more than 20 items as we are very brand selective. There is no limit as to how many pieces you bring.

  5. We accept all seasons of clothing all the time. Out of season items will be stored and sold during the appropriate season.

  6. We sell women’s waist sizes from 0-20 and men’s waist sizes from 28-40. We also sell shirt sizes from Small to XXL.

  7. Please understand styles can change and not all items you bring in will be accepted. Items we consider to be slow selling will not be taken to consign.

  8. We also accept items listed below:

    1. Designer leather or name brand purses

    2. Women’s leather or name brand shoes showing no visible wear.

    3. Better costume jewelry, sterling silver, 14k gold, and diamonds

    4. Short or long mink coats
